The much awaited Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift is finally launched in India at starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 7.99 lakh (Delhi) for base LXi variant, going upto Rs. 13.96 lakh for the ZXi variant. Now this Subcompact SUV finally came with the petrol engine that come with BS6 emission, but unfortunately the 1.3-litres engine has discontinued. Brezza facelift is powered by Maruti Suzuki's K-series engine of 1.5 litres, Maruti Suzuki claims that It is made on its way to balance between the power and efficiency that will provide the customer smooth ride. The engine is also quite powerful for this segment with having 1200cc engine capacity.
The 2022 Brezza comes with visual upgrades that have new grilles. Same bumper as older variant but with larger air intakes and a faux skid plate. This car has an elecric Sunroof which makes it first Maruti Suzuki car to have so. The New headlamps comes with projector LED lights. The taillights also gets new LED lights treatment without ruining its signature design. It comes with auto-folding ORVMs. The profile looks almost same as the older facelifts but now it have diamond-cut alloy wheels. The interior has all new leather wrapped steering wheel, sliding armrest and a 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system that has upgraded SmartPlay Studio 2.0 that is also compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The car also has remote key which gives you a keyless entry further more it has electrically adjustable ORVMs, tilt adjustable steerings, 60:40 split and folding rear seats, auto sensing vipers and many more.
New Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift is powered by 1.5 litres engine that generates 102 bhp at 6000 rpm and 134 Nm of highest torque at 4400 rpm. The engine has 5-speed maual transmission and 4-speed torque converter in automatic. It has top speed of 170+ kmph. Suzuki claims 17.03 kmpl on petrol manual variant and 18.76 on petrol automatic variant. It offers four trims - LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+. This car competes with cars like XUV 300, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon, Toyota Urban Cruiser and so on. Another car of this segment launched in India which is Toyota Hyryder (new variant of Urban Cruiser) which is giving major competition to Brezza.
